Blind Football
Two teams of five players with B1 visual impairment compete against each other, except for the goalkeeper, who can be sighted or have partial visual impairment. The game is played on a pitch with sideboards that help players orient themselves.
The ball contains bells, allowing players to locate it by sound. All outfield players must wear eye patches (validated by the organization) and blindfolds to ensure equal conditions.
From the technical area on the sideline, located in one third of the field, only one staff member from each team is allowed and is the only person authorized to give instructions from this area. Another guide stands behind the goal area and gives instructions to the attacking player on their team, providing guidance for scoring goals during play and penalty kicks. Goalkeepers also play this role, giving instructions to players within the area.
Defending players must say the word "voy" ("I go") when approaching another player to avoid collisions. Penalty kicks are taken from a fixed spot, with the ball stationary and the goalkeeper waiting on the goal line. Fouls are penalized similarly to conventional football, but with special emphasis on auditory and orientation infractions.
